Get to Know Me
About Janice
First and foremost, welcome! I am so happy that you found me and can discover how I can help you get better rest!

I am an Occupational Therapist with a passion for helping people thrive in their day-to-day lives. I believe sleep is an essential component to well-being and engagement with meaningful activities. When you sleep better, you feel better, and you do better.  Ultimately, this maximizing our potential and be our best selves at home, work, and socially.

I am a mother of two amazing boys. When they were babies, I thought they were the worst sleepers on the planet! My passion for promoting healthy sleep flourished because of them. Nowadays, it isn’t hard for me to remember the level of exhaustion that I felt in those early years. I recall all the well-intentioned, conflictual, and overwhelming advice I received.

Unfortunately, when my children were babies, I wasn’t able to find support that suited the needs of my family. Instead, I devoted myself to investigating the root cause of their sleep problems and finding creative solutions unique to them. I chose an integrated approach to addressing their sleep needs: a  holistic approach.

You may be struggling with your child's sleep or with getting restful sleep for yourself. It is a tough situation to be in - you may feel hopeless or overwhelmed when trying to decide what steps to make to improve your sleep. If this is the case, I would love to help you!
